About This Product

Engineered For Indian Industry

Single Girder EOT Cranes utilise one bridge girder with an underslung hoist trolley running on its bottom flange — keeping structure weight, wheel loads and building costs low while retaining full-bay coverage. The girder is a torsion-free fabricated section with deflection controlled well within code limits, riding on end carriages fitted with double-flanged forged wheels machined to your rail size. The design is manufactured in accordance with IS 3177 and IS 4137 duty classifications — the right choice for medium-duty applications demanding smooth, precise handling.

Energy Tech Crane designs every crane with an adequate factor of safety in compliance with IS 807 and IS 800 structural practice. Girders are fabricated from mill-certified IS 2062 plate by qualified welders, stress-relieved at critical joints and cambered so the bridge runs level under load; hook forgings and wire ropes are accepted only against certificates, and drives are sized to your duty cycle with VFD soft start/stop for jerk-free load control across all three motions.

Safety First

Safety Features As Standard

Overload Limiter

Electronic load cell cuts hoisting the moment load exceeds rated SWL.

⬆ Upper/Lower Limit Switches

Rotary geared and counterweight limits stop hook over-travel in both directions.

Motion Warning Hooter

Audible alarm and flasher warn floor staff during LT/CT travel.

Fail-Safe DC Brakes

Electromagnetic brakes engage automatically on power failure — load holds instantly.

Pendant + Radio Remote

IP-65 push-button pendant with optional wireless remote and emergency stop.

Panel Protection

SPP, overload relays and single-phase preventers protect motors and VFDs.

FAQ

Questions Buyers Ask Us

ETC single girder EOT cranes are built from 1 to 20 Ton as standard, with spans up to 35 metres. As a practical rule followed across the industry, loads above 20 Ton or spans beyond about 20 metres are better served by a double girder configuration — we'll recommend honestly from your numbers.

Duty class follows how hard the crane works: M3–M5 suits maintenance and intermittent workshop use, while M7–M8 covers continuous production duty. Share your lifts per hour and average load and our engineers will classify it per IS 3177 / FEM 1.001.

Squirrel cage crane-duty motors are standard for smooth, low-maintenance performance; slip ring motors are offered for heavier starting duty. All motions use fail-safe DC brakes that hold the load instantly on power failure.

The design complies with IS 3177, IS 4137 and IS 807 with FEM 1.001 mechanism classification, and every crane is load-tested at 125% of Safe Working Load before dispatch with a stamped test certificate.

If your loads stay within 20 Ton and duty is light to medium, a single girder crane gives the best economy. Choose double girder for heavier capacities, longer spans, higher hook lift or continuous three-shift duty — we'll recommend honestly based on your data.

Yes. Span, lift height, headroom, speeds and control type are engineered around your building. Send your shed drawing and we return wheel loads, clearance diagram and a GA drawing with the quotation.

Every crane carries a standard 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, backed by AMC programs, spares supply, load-test recertification and 24×7 breakdown assistance across India.

Typical delivery for a single girder EOT crane is 4–6 weeks from drawing approval, with site erection and commissioning usually completed in 2–4 days by our own rigging teams.
