Eight Checks Every Crane Must Pass

  • Material receipt — IS:2062 plates accepted only with mill test certificates.
  • Fit-up inspection — girder geometry, camber and diaphragm spacing verified before welding.
  • Weld quality — qualified welders; DP/UT checks at critical joints.
  • Machining QC — wheels, drums and mating faces gauged against drawings.
  • Assembly checks — alignment, gear backlash and brake settings recorded.
  • No-load trials — every motion run and tuned at the works.
  • 125% SWL load test — deflection measured, brakes proven, certificate stamped.
  • Pre-dispatch inspection — customer witness welcome at every stage.
