Compact electric wire rope hoist to IS:3832 — machined rope drum, grade IWRC rope, fail-safe DC brake and Class II/III duty gearbox. The lifting heart of every ETC single-girder crane, also supplied loose for monorails and existing cranes.

A hoist is only as good as its drum, rope and brake. ETC machines every rope drum with precision grooves for perfect rope seating, uses grade IWRC ropes with a minimum 5:1 factor of safety, and fits fail-safe DC disc brakes that hold full load instantly on power failure.
Gearboxes run hardened-and-ground gears in oil bath for silent, long-life operation, and crane-duty motors are rated S4-40% CDF for real industrial cycles — not catalogue optimism. Dual-speed and VFD hoisting options give creep control for precision jobs like die setting.
Send your beam flange width, capacity and lift — we match a drop-in ETC hoist with delivery in weeks, not months.
Slip clutch / load limiter prevents lifting beyond rated capacity.
Precision limit switches stop the hook at top and bottom extremes.
Spring-applied electromagnetic brake holds full load on power failure.
Embedded thermistors cut supply before winding temperatures damage the motor.
Certified lifting media with 5:1 minimum factor of safety.
42V control circuit pendant with mushroom-head emergency stop.
We build wire rope hoists from 0.5 to 30 Ton, for monorail beams, single girder cranes and standalone winch duty. Every unit is designed to IS:3177 / IS:4137 and FEM 1.001 duty classifications, and custom capacities are engineered on request.
Wire rope hoists suit medium to heavy capacities and continuous duty with faster lifting speeds; chain hoists are more compact and economical for lighter, intermittent-duty applications.
Yes, we supply wire rope hoists as loose units for mounting on your existing crane, monorail or fixed structure.
The drum is machined from seamless pipe with precision-cut helical grooves matched to the rope diameter. Correct groove pitch stops the rope crossing over itself, which is the single biggest cause of premature rope wear in Indian workshops.
Standard units are 4/1 and 4/2 reeved; 8/4 is used on higher capacities where true vertical lift is required. True vertical lift keeps the hook plumb through the whole hoisting range, so the load does not drift as it rises.
A rotary geared limit switch cuts top and bottom hoisting travel, with a separate emergency upper limit as a backup. Braking is by fail-safe DC electromagnetic disc brake that clamps automatically the instant power is lost.
Yes. Tell us the beam section, flange width and rail radius and we build the trolley to suit — flange-riding or rail-mounted, with adjustable wheel gauge for standard ISMB sections.
Routine checks are rope condition and lubrication, brake lining thickness, gearbox oil level and limit-switch operation. With scheduled servicing, our units routinely run beyond a decade in two-shift duty.
